EmmaLaura

Office Manager/Insurance Coordinator

EmmaLaura serves as our Office Manager and Insurance Coordinator. She will help you navigate your insurance requirements to make everything as easy as possible for you. She oversees our travel program and arranges everything needed for surgery for patients all over the world. In addition, EmmaLaura has a degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science from Auburn University and heads the Intragastric Balloon Program at Alabama Bariatrics. She is trained in exercise physiology and can help you design your personalized exercise program.

Cathy

Nurse
Cathy is Alabama Bariatrics’ nurse and graduated from University of Florida, Pensacola. She has worked with Dr. Suggs for over 20 years in the bariatric field. Cathy will help you through all your medical questions and concerns. She loves working at Alabama Bariatrics and spending time wth her little Pekinese, China.

Johna

Front Desk
Johna is a front desk receptionist and the first voice you will hear when you call Alabama Bariatrics. She is a Decatur native, wife and mom of three. Johna is happy to help you with anything you may need.
